Big win for Nine, up 2 points from last Sunday. Seven stayed competitive but was down week-on-week. 10 improved while ABC and SBS showed small falls.

Nine News was number one with Nine Brisbane’s bulletin the highest rated bulletin across the country with a massive 357,000.

Married at First Sight topped 1 million for the first time this season and easily won its timeslot. Dancing was up 20k from the launch episode with Survivor on 10 also showing a small week-on-week increase. DWTS ranked 9th in 25-54.

Weekend Sunrise posted the highest rating for a breakfast program for the year.

Nine Brisbane’s rolling flood coverage was too late to make the OzTAM codings so that My Way, Women’s NRL, Bondi Lifeguards etc will be adjusted.

Nine’s coverage an easy winner across the afternoon ahead of Seven.

Nine did very well all through last night as expected. Seven held up alright with Dancing posting a surprising increase. Survivor steady but The Joker was unsurprisingly a flop by the looks of it.

Queensland news figures are especially impressive for Nine.

Shame. Seven’s coverage was excellent.

That’s a disappointing start for Troppo. I wonder if viewers were turned off by the idea of the main character from the original Crimson Lake book being changed from a Sydney detective to an American so an American actor can be made the star of the series.

And an incredible 80k lead over Seven. Obviously, aided by their afternoon results. It will be interesting to see what changes Seven makes for tonight’s 6pm bulletin. Last night, they extended coverage of the floods in response to their uncharacteristic Saturday night defeat. It was by a much smaller margin though….

Although a slight lift on normal weekend numbers, just average weekday results for 10’s 5pm bulletin in Brisbane too.

Nine seemed to have a plan though. Today until midday and then rolling coverage. Seven’s appeared to only be reactionary… at first resuming normal programming.

Good to see Nine’s coverage dominating in Brisbane, including the Today show. It was great compelling coverage!

Surprised DWTS had an increase on last week. It’s still no match for MAFS, but at least it’s a tighter race between 7 and 10.

And 7 finally have a “live” bug onscreen at 11.45 today.

That’s a new one

Nine’s afternoon coverage in Brisbane even outrated MAFS.

Ooh, that’s got to hurt.

#65 for Joker, 10 won’t be trying any Sunday night movies again anytime soon you’d imagine.

Poor form from 10 to not have any additional coverage yesterday, they had reporters out in the field who could’ve done some updates throughout the day. You can bet if it was happening in Sydney or Melb it would likely be a different situion.

How is it a 4 decade old umpteenth re-run can rank in the Top 10, over 300k metro and key demos, helping that channel to a winning 20% main share on the least watched night of the week.

But a FTA premiere, with a higher reality show lead-in, on a bigger night of the week, with lots of marketing, absolutely bombs out to probably one of the worst ever for the scenario I just gave.

It can’t just be ‘because it’s Channel 10’?

10 haven’t shown movies for years. People just don’t associate movies with 10.
Joker is a good movie, but anyone wanting to see it (or see it again) can easily do so via Netflix or Foxtel.

Are those viewers mostly over 40 though?

Maybe it’s because it’s a terrible movie as well.

I’m not sure it’s on enough people’s radars to give it any notice. Unless you saw the promos on ABC who would even know it aired?
