Seven got off to another good start to the week. Main channel shares for Seven and Nine were down week-on-week but multichannels kept network shares similar. 10 edged up slightly while ABC dropped one point.

The contest for the key demos saw a rare double dead heat between Seven and Nine in both 16-39 and 25-54.

The Voice again was number one reality show despite dropping 50,000 from the previous Sunday. The Block picked up 20k extra viewers to post a season high while Survivor was up 25k week-on-week.

The Newsreader held onto most of its debut audience for ABC while Homicide on Seven picked up some extra viewers to beat 60 Minutes that was down 120k.

ABC News kept people up-to-date across the day as usual.

Weekend Today has another win over Weekend Sunrise.

The Newsreader seems to be doing well over the magic 500 mark.

Incredibly tight against Seven and Nine News Sydney - just ~1000 saw Seven winning the hour.

Nine News Adelaide picks up figures, winning the hour by ~7000, after Seven’s typical dominance over the week.

Another (small) win to Seven News in Sydney.

Good to see The Block post a strong number.

Sunday Afternoon Football between Essendon and Collingwood does well in Melbourne, and provides a strong lead-in to Seven News Melbourne.

Weekend Today beats Weekend Sunrise. Very interesting.

It also picked up an extra 190k in consolidated last week to reach 740k.

The Voice continued its strong ratings as the blind auditions draw to a close this week.

Big drop for 60 Minutes.

For a state that is supposedly NRL mad, I find this very bizarre. Good news for Seven, though.

Two bottom of the ladder teams, neither from NSW would be part of the explanation.

Really interesting to see Melbourne cooling on The Block, with Survivor doing better in that market. I think Melbourne has been The Block’s best market for most of the recent seasons.
