Viewers are quickly switching off Game of Games and those numbers are concerning. It is actually an OK show but I could not bring myself back for another episode. The contestants are just way too fake/acting up to try and be funny and the episodes are just too long. Nobody can be bothered watching a gameshow for 90 mins. Make it an hour, max.

#3

Last night capped off another horror weekend (ratings wise) for Ten. Poor figures for Supercars Gold Coast on both Saturday and Sunday had a domino effect on the evening line-up. Viewers have clearly abandoned Game of Games.
60 Minutes had one of its biggest audiences of the year thanks to its exclusive interview with rugby league legend Johnathan Thurston who just released his autobiography.
Not a great night for ABC either with Pine Gap falling from last week’s debut and Invictus Games Today coming third in the timeslot.

#4

Game of Games has crashed but All Together Now slipped further too. The Block is still big but not really benefiting hugely though.

#5

All Together Show was pushed back to 8.40pm in Perth due to Telethon (which raised a record $38 million at the end).

#6

What a diabolical night of ratings. People abandoning free to air in their droves.

#7

Wonder what the Sunday figures will look like in 12 months time…you only need 370k to get into the top 10 at the moment!

A Place to Call Home finishes on a high :disappointed:

#8

Block solid but Game Of Games appalling
I’ve heard from someone at Warners who produce it the show costs close to $1m an episode.
The 7:30 pm start is a nonsense and has killed TEN on Sundays all year .
7 and 9 have a half hour start so the shows never have a chance. People forget to turn over and get into other shows …it’s not like TEN have a strong lead in …they don’t so it makes no sense whatsoever and is killing shows.
All Together Now dropping but chances are it will be renewed as could be damn sight worse for Seven …as TEN know …

#9

Quite sad for Free to Air that sunday morning political show Insiders beats most programs in prime time.

#10

The local edition of Ten News Brisbane is the highest rating bulletin for Brisbane this year and ironically on a Sunday.

#11

Wow, was it really?

LOCAL WEEKEND BULLETINS CONFIRMED :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

As expected, The Block smashed everything. The grand finale should grab very respectible numbers.

#12

Its a worrying sign for free to air TV… numbers are low right across the board.

#13

Surely 10 need to act on Sunday night asap. The Project is clearly not working - this is the second time it’s been tried and the celebrity interviews aren’t a drawcard.
Game of Games should be shifted to Saturday night straight away.
Ten would be better to either put movies on and accept low ratings, or move Monday/Tuesday programs to Sunday night.

#14

Yet it was their highest rating program last night.

#15

Ten need stability on Sunday’s in the short term but in 2019 The Project needs to be removed from that night and contained to Monday-Friday. Games of Games season two prospects are looking poor given the current figures.

All Together Now continues to decline and 60 Minutes is slaughtering Sunday Night.

Invictus Games did better than I expected for the ABC.

#16

I watched the first episode on Saturday and found it rather boring. I won’t watch the rest of it.

#17

I would have expected The Block to be doing better up against the current opposition. This episode last year had 1.5 million; though I suppose Nine won’t be complaining about wining the night so easily.

Last night’s line up on Ten rated higher than this day last year when The 7pm Project was their best prime time effort again with 299,000.

#18

Might have to revise up the death of FTA from 2030 to 2025.

Ten Eyewitness News once again completely destroyed at 6pm in Sydney and Melbourne.

#19

I actually agree with you here.

Next year Ten should look at:

6pm : Sunday Project
7pm: Reality Franchises
8:30pm: Variety Entertainment (Sunday Night Takeaway / Rove rotate throughout the year)

#20

Not sure why this isn’t getting more attention - Sunday Night hasn’t done too well this year which is something that would have to be very concerning for Seven
