ABC put in a very good performance with the network’s equal best Sunday share of the survey so far. Seven lost 3 points and Nine 2 while 10 and SBS each improved 1 share point. Nine won along the east coast with Seven picking up Adelaide and Perth. Nine won the demos, Seven ranked second in 25-54 with 10 second in 16-39.

After last Sunday’s launch episodes Ninjas lost 150,000 and Farmer had to settle for 100,000 less. On 10, the Bachelors in Paradise picked up an extra 50,000.

The second episode of Between Two Works fizzled with just 279,000 tuning in after the premiere episode had 419,000 (487k with 7 day consolidated).

ABC News afternoon program numbers listed presumably refer to Victorian news confernce.

Ouch for episode 2 of Between Two Worlds. It wasn’t helped by the drama’s overlap with last 30 minutes or so of Ninja Warrior and Bachelor in Paradise, and that the episode was available on 7plus after the series premiere last Sunday for advance screening (maybe that’s a bad idea). If Between Two Worlds was Bevan Lee’s last work before retirement it was certainly not a good look.
Massive audience in Melbourne for ABC’s coverage of Daniel Andrews’ afternoon news conference announcing stage 4 lockdown and a curfew for the city.

Between Two Worlds in disaster territory

Not good for Between Two Worlds. Bummer.

Big numbers for the day for ABC News

Between two worlds doesn’t deserve those figures - it’s actually a pretty decent show. It is loosing a ton of its leadin though which is not a good look.

That ABC News Channel coverage in the afternoon outrated any of main bulletins in Melbourne.

The slot and lead out are just not right. They really should have launched it out of Big Brother on a Tuesday.

Bachelor in Paradise seems to dip on Sunday’s like a lot of Ten’s show have in the past. Maybe it should have aired Monday-Thursday. Still doing good numbers in demos though.

I am surprised how well Farmer wants a Wife is doing but it’s not rating in demos.

Seven News Sydney slightly outrating Nine News there. Very close call between Seven and Nine News Adelaide!

In the key 25-54 demographics, outside the top 5 were

Still very surprising results for Farmer wants a Wife. I’m guessing Seven will be pleased that they finally have a dating show that is working (for now)?

Nearly 5% for 7mate, that seems very high considering an umpteenth “Die Hard” re-run, though it did do over 160k metro.

Probably helped by the Perth AFL audience for around 40min too, which would’ve peaked after 6pm there (another nail biting finish with Fremantle getting over the line in shock over Collingwood)? If average was around 140k, that portion might’ve notched up close to 200k alone there?

Largely thanks to Perth where it was the number 3 channel after Seven and ABC.

Well done 10, just about makes up for the low-ish total people figure and gap with Ninja/Farmer.

Oh boy! :frowning:

I don’t get why Between Two Worlds has been completely rejected by the public. To think even Celebrity Gogglebox USA has better ratings.

This is the same country that considers Married at First Sight to be a ‘quality’ program, judging by its ratings.

Do you really think an audience that watches Big Brother are going to tune into Between Two Worlds - there is zero compatibility between those two.

Yeah I do. It would have introduced it to a younger audience as well. Often there isn’t much compatibility between realities and dramas anyway.

Farmer Wants A Wife looks to be more compatible than Big Brother. Younger viewers seem to be the ones who have rejected the show the most. Last night’s 77th ranking in 16-39 was below most programming on multichannels - Friends, NCIS, Simpsons, Futurama, 9Go and 7Mate movies with even ABC’s older skewing UK drams significantly more popular with younger audiences.
