The Bushfire concerts helps get Seven off to a good start on week 2 of the ratings year with a 38% 5-city share and roughly the same share across all markets. While Nine was still competitive and had the number one show, 10 was hammered into 4th place.

I’m surprised that MAFS still managed to beat Fire Fight. However Fire Fight did go for 9+ hours and to have a million till 11pm is very impressive. The afternoon ratings are incredible and those shares for Seven are huge. 7Two was also the top multichannel thanks to that 6pm boost for Fire fight when 7 went to the news. Keen to see the Foxtel ratings too.

Dancing with the Stars seemed to be what really suffered up against Fire Fight. Hopefully it can bounce back next week.

Massive win by Seven thanks to its coverage of Fire Fight Australia concert. Will be interesting to see how it rated on Foxtel later. The Latest didn’t start until 11pm due to late finish to the concert, so those figures will have to be revised downwards.

60 Minutes was well up on previous week thanks to Liz Hayes’ exclusive interview with the daughter of murdered Melbourne mother Karen Ristevski.

DWTS was decimated on its second week.

Will be interesting to see if Dancing can recover at all in the coming weeks or if it is just going to be lost with no traction made by audiences.

Good for Married to take #1 position for its average, but the average for the Fire Fight coverage is quite incredible, especially in the afternoon. I imagine peak audience viewing and the number who tuned in to part of it would be a VERY high number.

Yep I reckon around 8.30pm when MAFS finished and Queen came on it probably had it’s peak audience.

The Fire Fight Concert did well. Np surprises that Seven coded it into 4 segemnts (day, afternoon, night and late. Plus the 7two figures). Id say that The Latest and the 911 repeat will be adjusted down due to the overrun of the concert.

Not good figures on 10. The Project didn’t do well and neither did DWTS against the added competition.

Not large numbers for Foxtel’s covereage of the concert

DWTS struggled against MAFS and FFA last night. Fire Fight Australia did sensationally well, helping Channel 7 to a win in all 5 markets. The crowd at ANZ Stadium has a great crowd with over 76k at the venue last night.

Does the network reveal the times for various segments? Just curious to know what time the “Late” segment started.

When you combine V and Fox8 it’s closer to 200k which is good considering it was also on FTA. Plus that seems to be an average for the entire 9+ hour telecast so probably peaked higher.

The events national average audience when you include Foxtel and Seven was over ~1.2million.

I think the combined national audience for Foxtel’s telecast was modest given it was also available in 4K. Seems that some people preferred to watch it on Seven or streamed it live on smartphones etc.

Peak number was a couple of hundred thousand higher but it was for the main concert (rather than late) but MAFS’s peak number was still higher than the concert’s.

Was a good concert and for a very good cause. In today’s landscape those ratings are incredible.

Too bad that’s all going to collapse tonight when MKR returns.

Late segment was 9-11pm

Ten didn’t help themselves with the first 20 mins of DWTS being out of sync!

I think you might be wrong. They will probably get 1 million tonight for 7 News. They normally do…

Doesn’t bode well for Dancing with the stars - risk that it will now be forgotten, will viewers return?

I watched it on Ch 400 Ultra HD Movies which didn’t make the list
