Nine had an easy win on Sunday with not much movement from the previous week. Seven slipped 2 points in main channel share with ABC up week-on-week. Nine’s 5-city win was mostly thanks to Melbourne where the network was 10 points clear of the competition as Seven won all other markets.

The Amazing Race topped the entertainment offerings for the night up 20,000 from last Sunday to a season high. By contrast Holey Moley slipped to 8th place in the rankings down 120,000. The night sessions of the tennis ranked 7th and 10th.

Harrow improved slightly from last week’s season debut and Quoll Farm also did well for ABC.

The introduction of a new team didn’t deter the audience for The Amazing Race Australia.

Close of Business (4th in multichannels) was actually the Victorian Government press conference on the local lockdown.

Good win for Seven News Sydney.

On the flip side, Nine News Melbourne absolutely crushed Seven News Melbourne.

Nine had an easy win in melbourne thanks to the News and Australian Open. Seven news won in other capital cities. Abc news even beat Nine news in Adelaide, which is quite rare, given that Nine News Is competitive with seven.
With only one big name playing last night, tennis ratings have dropped. Meanwhile, Thr amazing race Australia won in its 7:30pm timeslot.

Well done again Amazing Race. Ten must be happy with the way things turned out this year. oley Moley struggling already and AO not so strong as competition.

Also like to point out that Seven News Adelaide has regained a win on weekends, after losing to Nine the last couple of weekends. It’s also worth saying that Rosanna and Mike are presenting on Sundays, so it might mean that Adelaide viewers are making a slight return.

When Seven and 10 do comparisons now, I wonder which metric they’re comparing, as the Aus Open “night” is now split in two and different timeslots?

I can’t believe I’m looking at a Sunday night rating rundown. Not one show over a million, and the top entertainment show received just over 500k viewers.

Does anyone else remember the days when 60 minutes would break 1.6m on a normal average Sunday night?

The Amazing Race has done ok. I would expect them to renew it. Although, I don’t think it should ever be used as a standalone tentpole again.

Yep… it’s seem news is really the only drawcard… then viewers go elsewhere for content.

So the equivilent Aus Open Sunday prime time all networks’ shows are down?

And the direct year-on-year Sunday prime time comparison (with Married) Seven and Nine are down, but 10 are up? (Amazing Race vs Dancing)

No, the Amazing Race is up on I’m A Celebrity on day 7 of the AO.
