Probably during the 4pm after school timeslot…not that the commercial networks are likely to given that they’ve recently made very clear their opinions about even producing the bare minimum amount of local children’s programming legally required to keep their licences. Basically this emoticon:

Junior MasterChef is about selling advertising spots that appeal to 10’s target demo/s - and they are looking for something to watch on Sunday nights.

Yeah this is true. And I am probably not the demographic that 10 are aiming for with JMC. It’s very strange though they went from airing documentaries like lindy chamberlain and trump the last few weeks and then this week are airing something of a completely demographic. 10 really need to work out what demographics they are going for. Because they seem very lost at the moment.
No. That is separate - coding included “EV” as opposed to AM.
If that number was used, what would happen is the average of the two numbers would be given for the show rather than the total.

I’m sure the Trump special, which they bought earlier this year, was maybe intended for another timeslot. Why can’t they air Lindy doco and then Jnr MC?

Its not the same demographic. If you are selling your products and slots to an advertiser you need to know who your audience is. I understand we are in a pandemic but 10 do need to know who they are pitching to and what their audience is which sometimes doesn’t seem to be the case. These documentaries probably should be airing at 8:30 if they are going for a family audience at 7:30.
All of those shows are much more mature than JMC. And 7 has a known news brand. So these specials are more within their target audience rather than 10 who cut local news and seem to have no interest in it.
Yes I get this but maybe these specials should have been aired after Junior Masterchef had finished. Rather than in between Bachelor in Paradise, Family Feud and Junior Masterchef
No chance that any networks will spend so much money for a 4pm show when news would easily outrate it at a cheaper price.
The Rugby Union Bledisloe Cup did alright for Ten during the day (game was 2-4pm aedt, coverage finished 4.30). It came 19th. News was 18th. Was there a “post match” figure? Or a boost in RPM’s numbers that aired at 4.30pm between the game and the news?
There was a post match figure in 27th place, but remembering that the lead in to 10 News was only in Sydney and Melbourne.
