Studio 10 (2015-2020)

Oh Stan , man he was great on beauty and the beast back in the day… he and jan Murray uses to go at it quite a lot :stuck_out_tongue:

Haven’t had a chance to see this package, so hopefully I can watch this segment when I get home.

@blackbox you have that extra hour coming up, time for a B&B revival? :stuck_out_tongue:

Robbo moonlighting as the cash cow. Code word is Studio10!

I’d like to see more conversations thrown to the audience for their opinion - Denise is always asking the audience questions. The audience is one of the things that differentiates Studio10 from the rest.

Why can’t the Sydney backdrop look as good as that?

I really like the use of the melbourne set. The only issue I have with it is how dark it all is in that studio and looks on screen, they need some bright colors or something. Especially with it being winter it doesn’t make it very inviting.

Yeah, that desk is quite dark. The blues could be a bit lighter but the images are brilliant…

Agreed the backdrops are great. I think it’s probably easier because they are showing it is from Melbourne. Where as the usual set they try to keep it more “generic” which is why it’s more bland with the park backdrop.

The desk is quite dark and yeah the blues are a bit dark too. Could also be the lack of uplighting as well which makes the hosts look a bit dull.

The lighting in that studio isn’t as good as Sydney’s. When the project comes from Sydney it looks better.

It looked great during Buddy Good’s Month in Review performance. The lighting was so much better with reds and light blues.

This reunion is just brilliant. Remembering the old days of watching GMA. Wish they would show highlights where Bert would take the piss out of stuff… like ken James’ cooking segment. It really was an institution.

Some of the file footage is in native HD. The last lot of years was produced in full HD. The quality was outstanding back then. Shame HD went the way of the dodo at the Australian networks.

At least they got to speak to Bert on the phone this morning talking about GMA.
The cooking segments on GMA were always very funny especially with Dorinda Hafner,Elizabeth Chong and Ken James.

Looks like they’re running over time. They might have to extend til 12. They’ve just gone to an ad.

Love GMA, definitely an institution. In doing so, it should have been mentioned that the only reason the show ended was because Bert left the network, unlike its successors.

[/quote] He said the only reason he couldn’t attend in person was due to his health condition. John Foreman also pre-recorded a message and a performance which played alongside Patti.

Especially when the food turned out like shit and Bert would be on fire with his quips. The cooking segment was a mainstay of the show. I doubt Bert really cared for the food and was more a showcase of banter.
