What is this show if not for opposing views? It is pointless. Pauline represents a lot of opinions in heartland Australia, whether you or I like it or not. I welcome more panelists on her side of politics.
I strongly disagree with most of what Pauline Hanson has to say, but as others have rightly pointed out she does have a right to voice an opinion. Whether or not the media should be giving her so much attentionâŚwell thatâs another story.
While this isnât the time or topic, I would probably say thereâs really no âone size fits allâ approach when it comes to education and children with autism because the spectrum itself is so wide. Some autistic children are fine in mainstream classes/schools, while others cope better in specialised classes/schools which better meet their needs.

Today was barista Damien Galeaâs last show. Sad to see him go. Now Joe wonât have to think of a new handshake/hug/high-five/kiss every morning as they walk out of the magic doors at the start of the show.

I just read that the Gloria Jeans sponsorship ended on Studio 10 today, iâm sure itâll be sad for the team to see Barista Damien go. It seem as if theyâve had a few different sponsors over the years such as Evergreen Tours, Virgin Australia, iTalktravel etc

This is absolutely right. My child goes to a mainstream school, is learning Japanese and is coping well⌠but Iâm sure that approach doesnât work for everyone.

The problem with what Pauline has said is that now any autistic kid in a class (regardless of location on the spectrum) will become a scapegoat for bad parents of other kids looking to pass on blame for poor grades.
By all means have her on the show, but I really disagree that she has the interests of autistic kids at heart, considering her comments previously about vaccines. The more exposure she gets the more I have to hear (in my job) about kids and the elderly in emergency rooms dying of ordinary flu or whooping cough.
Thatâs all I have to say.

Iâm all for a road trip but the show has had a few audio and tech issues this morning.
The space they are broadcasting from is too open and the live audience doesnât feel part of it. The indoor area you can see behind Sarahâs shot would have probably been more appropriate for an intimate feel and you would still get the pool as a backdrop.
It is also hard not to make these trips feel like an ad with all the sponsorship deals they have to read out.

hey at least, even during these times, they can still hit the road. I imagine bugs will be ironed out as the week progresses.

I think this is the very first time they have done the whole show outside a studio? i think it looks good and agree with @lexington, the bugs will be ironed out.
These things are often a sponsorship thing and i think thats especially true now with Tens situation, so its not that bigger deal IMOâŚ

Despite the technical difficulties and sound issues during the hot topics, itâs a beautiful morning on the GC this morning and I would all but discourage Studio 10 from not getting out and about. The desk and kitchen bench always have a refreshing look about them outdoors. Also nice to see former Wake Up cameras being used this am.
