Craig Bennett again with an interview that other networks won’t get because he is close friends with so many in the industry.
This morning his heartbreaking interview with his friend Paula Duncan talking about the death of her sister Carmen Duncan who died earlier this month.

Is Richard Reid a permanent cast member?

He has been doing reports from Los Angeles for a while.

He joined the show in early 2015, of late it seems he has more been co-sharing presenting the daily showbiz file with Craig Bennett since Ange joined the show full time.

Richard last year was doing 2 days a week doing the Showbiz File and occassional entertainment stories and guest panellist.
In December he did the Showbiz File from LA for a few weeks.
He mentioned once on the show that he is in our country on a working visa and couldn’t get australian citizenship and spends a small part of the year back in America.

Rhonda Burchmore performed from the balcony above the newsroom today and it looked so good. Even included aerial views of the panel down in the set dancing. Would love to see that used a lot more. Perhaps even as a spot where they can do the showbiz file from throughout the show.

Reminds me of the old Newsworthy segment the sauna sessions

This is why people shouldn’t be carrying on about why certain cast members are not on the show. We don’t always know the full story. There are so many other things happening in people’s lives and sometimes the show or those people can’t share them with the audience.

although it is interesting to see how workplaces treat mental illness now. Does it make you less employable? Being in TV in particularly would they think its not really an excuse to have time off? I wonder this stuff as an everyday worker if I would be treated the same?
