I all have made suggestions, assumptions and proposed theories, but unless someone from the management at Channel Ten are reading any of the threads here on mediaspy, then nothing will actually amount to any proposed ideas or concepts.

We can say we like some segments, then we can say others should be cut, but at the end of the day, its up to the management of the Ten network to implement ideas and try new things to see if the audience warms to the ideas. Its the same with 7 and 9… in all of their shows…

As a side note, if I was Nine (or whoever ends up with the cricket rights after the net bidding war, I don’t like long lead-ins to a cricket game)… it was good back in the day when Nine came on 10 or 15 minutes before the start of play to announce the teams, show the toss and the weather wall and a quick chat with the respective captains, then onto play).

I have no idea what any of this is on about, especially the cricket reference out of nowhere.

Not too sure I like this idea. With Ita only do a few days, it is going to be even more choppy than what it was last year.

Here is what I think they should do. When Sarah returns from ML, keep Tarsh on the team by having her in the fourth seat, when Ita’s isn’t there. She would then be doing the same days she was on Breakfast (three weekdays and then the weekend news). Ange Bishop (who ends up being a panellist and doing Showbiz), Susie Eleman and Carlotta are all great, but can’t commit full time to the show either.

Denise does add a lot to the show, particularly the later/lighter segments. But some three months a year, is too inconsistent. Perhaps, have her do special reports and live performances occasionally and do the Showbiz File, when Ange and Craig aren’t available (which is at least once every three weeks).

I agree, keep Tarsh! She’s great. I reckon her and Sarah would gel well too. Put James Mathison on more, less Susie Elleman, only because she makes every topic about herself and that get’s annoying.

There’s definitely something going on between those two, why would they schedule them together? if you saw the show today at about 9:45am Denise said she hates the word “hump day” and Ita said “its wishful thinking” or something and Denise laughed but then let out this loud fake laugh. it was so obvious.
