Tasmania’s WNBL team starting next season has just released their new name and brand at 7pm tonight. Not what I expected but not too bad. I think they were told they needed to have something different to the Jackjumpers name but they have clearly kept things very similar which I think will be very good for them. > **[Log in to Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=pfbid02z8fvKcaKKceiHA2rmGwdWYzhaCWj3hRsPSf2S6XJMq9jsg6bmCxZ4tXWTpxfzvdul&id=61583863333836&rdid=GHrf9fubziaAWnXe&share_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fshare%2Fp%2F1BEskV6sy3%2F)** > > Log in to Facebook to start sharing and connecting with your friends, family and people you know. It looks like the Jewel is there as the “Jewel in the Crown” and to tie it with the Jack Jumpers they’ve based the crown on that of the Ant Queen in the nest. A bit of a journey to get there but it does make sense in the end. It looks like it’s been pretty well received though which is good. ---
