Still happens these days re 2AD at Armidale and their refusal to pay SWM rent at Little Duval so they are building their own site instead!
The old transmitter site was Hit & Triple M was at Sunny Cliffs, never been out that way so I couldnāt tell you If the tower is still standing & I go up to Mildura quite often.
Most of the Triple M stationās In WA are on the AM band so sell them Including Mildura which is FM the Hit brand seems to be more lucrative & they would still have a good Triple M Presence In their other markets across Australia, Divesting 17 commercial radio licences is nothing for Southern Cross/7 West Media In terms of coverage they still have a bigger footprint when It comes to coverage. Living In Ouyen & being able to pick up Mildura radio I think this is a breath of fresh air, having 3 radio stations owned by 3 different licensees It should be like this In other large markets In Australia.
