Andy Sichter is no longer there so hopefully there’s going to be more new music.

Awesome song and a great pick for the regionals. This song would even work on the Metro M’s. Personally, I don’t mind a bit of modern country / rock.

I wouldn’t count on it as today I heard the same music from the Regionals playlist that they have had for the past two years now with P!nk, Ed Sheeran etc.
Al Dobie is doing a music shift after 4pm across the regional network. (Including Newcastle).

Think this makes it the first time in 20 years that Limestone Coast news has come from South Australia (albeit Adelaide) - it had been read out of Bendigo up until last week.

Onward and upward: Journalist Owen Watts departs SCA
After five months presenting news on the Triple M and Hit Networks across Albury, Gippsland and the Goulburn Valley, Owen’s role was among those made redundant under SCA’s recently-confirmed revamp of its news operations.
747 Triple M in Esperance has axed it’s 11 to 2 show which means no more localism on the station with a music shift coming from over east.

Is there any point having the local news bulletin followed by a national one?
If the local journo is in the building why not have them read national stories as well then flick it over to the national news after 12.
I know other networks have done this but I don’t see the point in it.
Especially on SAFM / Triple M limestone coast, Sean Maynard reads the national news for SAFM / Triple M Adelaide anyway.

This morning on The Hit Network’s Dan & Christie, co-host Christie Hayes officially wrapped up her final show before heading off on maternity leave.
The former Home and Away star, who has been open about her IVF journey and previous loss, is now preparing to welcome her ‘rainbow baby’ with husband Justin Coombes-Pearce.
Now, it’s time for ‘Dan & Christie’s Matt Leave’ as Producer Matt Reynolds steps in to join Dan Taylor on-air while Christie is away.

Nick Allen-Ducat to depart the Hit Network’s Jess & Ducko show
Nick ‘Ducko’ Allen-Ducat has announced he will be leaving the Hit Network’s Jess & Ducko Breakfast show, heard across New South Wales.
Broadcasting from SCA’s Newcastle studios, Ducko will continue to be heard alongside Jess on the show between 6 and 9am weekdays and also on LiSTNR until Friday, December 19.
Jess’ new co-host will be announced shortly.

Seven and SCA will face a dilemma in some regional markets e.g. Mildura. Should they sell the local Hit/Triple M station or the TV station?
