Paul has a lot of labor mates and quite a few malleable positions on issues. Make of that what you will.
Is he really a conservative? He’s an entertainer.
I’ve not watched him outside of clips in his Sky News persona, but years back in his Triple M days and when he was billed as a ‘comedian’ on TV, I certainly never got the impression that he had strong political beliefs, I suppose that can mean he’s good at adapting what he says for his audience, but I certainly interpret that as him having no real backbone of a worldview.
One of the roles I looked up was him doing Seven’s shortlived “The Nightcap” - I wonder if he’d do a segment blasting himself for his joke about the Pope here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5QvOJkK2vQ.
When his show was 180, I thought he was a bit centre left
Meanwhile, Sky in an alternate Shovel universe…
Far out lol I just can’t stop pissing myself laughing !
Really people want a conservative government so they voted in labor ? Rowan Dean you fool!
Let’s also not forget NSW and some others are merely government cycles. Governments very rarely last more than 10-12 years in power.
Google ‘Satire’ and also delve into The Shovel a bit too
Sky News goes free to air in 2018 and this gives millions of Australians access to their channel (including the After Dark programs) for free. Rowan Dean, Peta Credlin, Paul Murray and friends now spew their hatred every night across Australia. Murdoch’s opinions reach a mass audience.
The result? Labor sweeps to power federally and is now the government in all the mainland states. This is dispute feral hatred from the Sky News attack dogs on the Victorian and Queensland premiers in particular.
Most Australians see Sky News for what it is. A bunch of old, irrelevant, angry, delusional, obsessive and aggressive presenters. It’s good for a laugh, but these people cannot be for real.
And they have had no noticeable effect on the political landscape in Australia. Sky News is thus quite harmless. After the last five years, I suspect that many Liberals may well wish it could be turned into another informercial channel.
Sky will be covering the Aston by-election from 6pm-11pm tomorrow.
It will be different to other election coverage as it will include news opt-outs each other.
Is that Sky’s Melbourne set?
Set looks good
Non-stop Trump coverage between 5:30am and 6:15am this morning. Some great coverage!
Obviously ‘common sense’ equals right wing views and continual culture wars in Sky land.
“common sense” is the antidote to “woke”, apparently
Think Sky needs a bulletin of record. Where all its reporters across Australia report on the stories of the day. Could be hosted by Gilbert out of Canberra and then available on demand through the night.
You mean Sky News should act like a news channel and actually have a news bulletin. Perish the thought.
