Shame they couldn’t have changed the theme music. I hate it so much. It just DRONES on and on and on… just awful.
Ian King left Sky News yesterday after 11 years.
And it’s changed to a more compact full-width strip at least since October last year. The arrows are still used as a secondary device in ticker and shoulder graphics.

Please tell me they’ll get an original name and not another name with breakfast in it. Hopefully they resurrect the Sunrise name or Daybreak.
They’ve just today replaced Good Morning Sports Fan with Sky Sports Breakfast. So don’t hold your breath.

Which soon has to change its name because the parent company doesn’t other stations using it.
‘Mornings with Ridge and Frost’… not sure about the name myself. But at least they’re not calling it Breakfast anymore. Starts Monday 3 November.

Not even gonna touch on the weirdness of using two last names (or the same presenter leading in and leading out of the show), but…
…well, creativity has gone out the window since this name was retired six years back.

I suspect it was meant to be a nod to Breakfast with Frost (which of course David Frost - Wilfred’s dad - presented for many years on the BBC). But yes it is a clunky name. There was nothing wrong with Sunrise as you correctly point out.
