Confirmed this morning that Seven will continue to show NFL this season but with only two matches per week on 7mate. > According to [US Sports Down Under website](https://www.ussportsdownunder.com.au/blogs/blog/australian-nfl-tv-guide), 7mate will show Jacksonville v Kansas City and Tampa Bay v San Francisco next Monday. ---

Yesterday’s announcement of the dates of this year’s Australian PGA Championship (December 19-22) means the golf tournament will clash with the first weekend of the 2019/20 BBL season. In particular, day 2 of the golf will overlap with the BBL match between the Hurricanes and the Sixers (2.45pm AEDT start) and day 4 will overlap with Stars v Hurricanes (also 2.45pm AEDT start). All three will be shown on Seven. ---

is it possible Seven can on sell them to a different FTA network. As I think, Golf Australia don’t like it when being relegated to a multi channel. ---

The Australian PGA (not Golf Australia) may have no choice but to accept coverage on the Friday and Sunday will be on 7mate, with BBL taking priority. ---

Losing the rights to Sunday Night Football is a blow considering that slot is the NFL’s ‘marquee’ slot (especially later into the season when ‘flex scheduling’ comes in). Having said that, the rights allocation between Seven & ESPN makes sense with Seven getting the ‘headline’ Sunday afternoon matches while ESPN gets exclusive rights to primetime matches ---
