Technicially, Gold Central Victoria is under a different licence area (Maryborough Vic RA1) to that of Hit/Triple M (Bendigo RA1), even though they overlap almost entirely with one another.
hi all, im after a consensus, do we think that now jobkeeper has finished and that in most markets PRIME dont have any news competition, will Prime keep pumping money into the news services or will there be changes, credit to them for being last person standing in the market.
While I certainly don’t wish to see any of the remaining Prime7 Local News services axed, I would’ve thought they’d pull out of the two markets they do have competition in (the North West & North Coast bulletins are up against NBN News) before they pull out of the three, four if you count GWN7 where they’re the only full bulletin in town.
I’m sure this has been discussed previously but haven’t been able to find any posts but is Prime7 branded as 7 on air in Canberra now? I came across the Canberra Prime7 online stream and even though the commercials were from Canberra the on air branding and the watermark weren’t.
Prime7 do not stream directly online. It would be the Seven NSW feed with local advertising specifically for the Canberra region dropped into the stream. The local terrestrial feed in Canberra is still branded on air as Prime7
Cookies on your browser or mobile activity might also have some impact on the ads you watch, but not sure for 7plus. (Especially from someone who’s outside the platform’s availability.)
The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has approved ACM’s purchase of an additional 5% of Prime from Bruce Gordon. ACM now has a 19.99% holding in Prime.
