7 included 7+ for a long time (logo and audio), then dropped it a while back, advertising as “on 7”, using just one logo.
I noticed recently on the intro on Sunrise the voiceover has been “Sunrise with Eddy and David on 7 and 7 plus”.
Has 7 started showing the 7 logo in red before changing to white after commercial break.?
They have done that for years.
Will Seven get new graphics on 19 January 2026? Noticed new graphics in the Home and Away and Australian Idol promo
I’ve noticed them, but i wouldn’t say it’s new, it’s basically the same.
I’ve noticed the safe area has decreased a-bit, now closer to the edge of the screen.
That’s an oddly specific date for a speculative graphic refresh?
Pink watermark/bug for the cricket this week, with the match at the SCG the ‘Pink Test’.
Are you referring to the swipe of colour towards the “7” as the day is revealed?
Well it is the day the 6pm anchors are returning (except Mark is back Jan 18)
The changed aspects of the package looks like the 7NEWS headline graphics
New Animation returning from breaks. Follows the look seen on recent promos.
Watermark also shifted into the lower corner.
Safe to say… So Seven is droppingsome subtle hints.
Graphics Package is 4.5 years old (Launched in June 2020)
nothing is “safe to say” on flimsy evidence.
It may be flimsy… But it is interesting to say the least
Doesn’t mean anything at all we shall all wait and see. I don’t mind the current package even if they kept it without any changes. But for years on the next on Seven promos it was always next on Seven and whatever the show was called in recent years they changed it to next up which annoys me. It’s little but it was annoying and unnecessary.
At least Seven is being innovative with their on-air presentation than Nine’s which is still stuck in the last decade.
It’s still Netflix inspired but the update looks pretty good.
Aha.. I knew something was happening
First changes to promos, then a new animation when returning from breaks, watermark moved further into the corner.. now a new ident
And cue the speculation…
Seems more of a refresh of the current package
I knew the same thing but earlier. When did you start noticing?
