OK just checking. It is the whole north coast they produce it for eg Byron are through to Taree-Forster or is it only as far south as Kempsey-Port Macquarie?
I think the North Coast bulletin covers from Forster to Murwillumbah. The inland bulletin does Tenterfield to Gunnedah to Moree.
A number of guides right across Seven Regional have been wrong since Seven took over scheduling of the ex-SCA7 stations.
Even the guide linked to from Sevenās own website https://tvguidetonight.com.au/ has errors. For example tonight at 6pm in Tamworth on that site it lists 7News Coast.
Wherever Foxtel source the FTA data for their IQ boxes is equally faulty. In Canberra my IQ Box has been listing QLD local news at 6pm for weeks.
I just thought I would provide an update on this for you. Channel 7 actually sends the correct information. Yourtv, Foxtel and Fetch changed from Gracenote to SimplyTV as their 3rd party data provider. So the info goes in correctly to them and then they have issues putting it out and it creates issues. So basically they are feeding it into their data bases but then spitting out the wrong info. The last piece of info you have about Tamworth - that is not ex SCA - that is ex Prime and still has not come under āSevenā yet and is controlled by Canberra so the mistake is likely their end.
I was going to send you a PM but that is not an option for you which is strange. You are welcome to email me if you see any mistakes and I will pass along
Thatās a really good insight, thanks. Thatās information which I doubt anyone trying to figure out why their favourite guides are wrong would know anything about. Really helpful info!
And yeah Iām aware Tamworth isnāt ex-SCA. It seemed relevant to the conversation above, but Iāve obviously attributed an incorrect reason for the strange program listing.
I may have accidentally turned off my PMs when I was trying to block a specific user. Itās a long time ago. Iāll take a look. Thanks for letting me know.
