Seven News (Regional Vic/NSW/ACT/WA)

No doubt a backdrop made for Tassie that was used for the sake of it. Overall production standards are very low compared to 7WA

Craig Moore’s weekend local weather has expanded this weekend to cover WA. 3 x 1 minute spot (one for each split: GSW, GAW, GNW).

Great stuff, @TBoy

Next they’ll be wheeling it on location to do piece to cameras and it might accidentally blow into the Southern Ocean off Albany.

So are there only 2 news updates (and 3 Weather updates) for Bendigo each day?

Thanks for confirming.

It makes you wonder if HSV7 Melbourne will take over Victoria’s operations soon.

We’ll all get there once it all sorts out.

Does 7NEWS Regional WA have a reporter in Kalgoorlie yet?

It would require major investment at BCM in extra staff and facilities. The existing Seven News Melbourne staff and facilities are solely focused (rightly) on the existing Melbourne 4pm and 6pm bulletins.
HSV no longer exists, it was bulldozed in the early 2000’s.

Their original building might no longer exist but HSV is the station not the building, ergo HSV still exists.

HSV only exists as a transmitter callsign on top of Mt Dandenong now.
Internally the current building in Docklands is known as BCM. No one at Seven refers to it as HSV, being the original HSV was still in operation for a few years when BCM started. The BCM name stayed stuck at BCM when HSV was bulldozed.
Same as how ATN no longer exists, bulldozed, with Martin Place (or 52MP) being what is referred to now as the main production centre for Seven Sydney until it moves to Eveleigh some time next year.
I give you BTQ still exists, and is still referred to internally at Seven as BTQ.

What are you on about? It’s a call sign for the Melbourne channel. The logic behind your reasoning is nonsensical. Whether you call it 7 Melbourne or HSV, it’s the same thing.

Weird because I could swear I was watching it last night

Yes. Everyone knows what was being referred to. Move along.
