While it’s great to see a new face (yes I know this is her second stint hosting) and give new talent some experience and exposure, I would’ve thought the idea of having Samantha and Katrina sharing the 4pm/weekend role would’ve been that they’d cover each other’s absences, particularly planned ones.

All dependent on whether Katrina was free though… the reason she moved off weekends was to get her weekends back.

Abbey Gelmi has revealed on Instagram why she had been absent from the screens for the past few weeks - she had been struggling with a condition called hyperemesis gravidarum (HG), which also affected Princess Kate during her pregnancies. Abbey also said that she is also expecting her second child this year with partner Kane Lambert.
