Seven News Presenters and Reporters

Angie Asimus has returned to the weekend 5pm News.

Paula Voce presenting in Perth tonight. There was a delay till close to 8:20pm because of the Tennis.

Sometimes I think it’s it really worth having a news bulletin that late
Sunday’s men’s final could finish later.
Why doesn’t perth take the Sydney news before the the coverage starts

Seven Perth could produce their own news service before the coverage starts, I imagine doing it afterwards gets better ratings.
Also the Sydney news would be pretty much irrelevant to Perth/WA viewers (even more so than the supposedly ‘national’ news service provided by Ten which we all complain about).

Peter Mitchell presenting in Melbourne tonight

Probably wanting as much exposure as possible. Seven hoping that they will have a decent audience in Melb for News before the Men’s Final tonight.

Yes, if it ends up being a five setter, Seven News Perth may not get to air until 9pm AWST.
They may well bump the Tennis after match presentations to 7TWO to get to News.

It would then be a weekend of real news extremes in Perth, as TEN Eyewitness News “First At Five” went to air at 2pm yesterday to accommodate the Big Bash cricket Final.

@MBB Mitch has presented on Men’s Grand Final night in previous years.

Yep. Exposure to a large audience.

@MBB That’s the obvious reason Mitch has also presented on the night of another high rating sporting event the AFL Grand Final on occasion over the years.

It’s wonderful to have veteran newsreader Ann Sanders back today for another year of presenting Seven Morning & Afternoon (national) News.

Melbourne Afternoon newsreader Jacqueline Felgate starts her maternity leave in 4 weeks time.

Rick Ardon presentening 4.30 news today

Wednesday (01.02.16) : Angela Cox presented the Early News.

No doubt Blake Johnston will be replacing her.

Would it not be Nick MacCallum?

@MBB Personally l was hoping it would be Blake Johnson, but after the summer presenting line up you would have to think it will be Nick McCallum.
Blake did fill in on Afternoon News (and was extremely impressive) over summer but only because Nick McCallum was doing weeknights/weekends at that time.

We’ll see

Jim Wilson filled in on Sydney sport last night and tonight, Ryan Phelan did so on Monday.

Both of them are pros compared to Mel McLaughlin.

Seven should’ve tried to grab Yvonne Sampson before she left for FOX Sports.
