Seven News Content and Appearance

‘Incredibly awkward’ is a little dramatic. You only see her for a few seconds. Barely enough time to register any awkwardness at all.

It looks like how the standing presentation is performed on Channel Nine in Sydney. They even do it when the weather presenter presents the weather with the presenter walking up to the next location. The graphics are on angles and look weird and are harder than necessary to read. Just have a fly by that takes over the full screen with the presenter reading out the temperatures for a few locations as the flyby progresses. It would look better.

Copying stupid pointless gymicks from Nine isn’t going to improve their ratings.

But Seven is winning in Melbourne?

Couldn’t you look at it that 7 Melb is trying different things to improve? Doesn’t meant it’s always going to be right. But why not try different things with two presenters?

I think it’s good they are open to changing and doing different things. However most of the time its a retrograde step.

A few minor glitches in the first story of 7 News Melbourne tonight.

Once upon a time this would have been solely the realm of Today Tonight - one of the often unthought consequences of switching to hour long bulletins.

Seven News Sydney just aired a touching tribute to Dpug Mulray. Most talking about his radio days, they did talk aboutt some of his television work. And they talked about his most famous tv work of Naughtiest Home Videos. They mentioned Nine and showed the Nine logo without hiding it. A rarity these days.

We saw it in Melbourne too. Likely ram with it because it was a “controversy” as apposed to free publicity
