Still no sign of new promos. Seven News across the weekend promoted a story about how big crusing was going to be next year - individualised per market. I didn’t see the appeal or interest or the value in the saturation promos. In the end, Seven News had its lowest Monday rating nationally under the new ratings system. In the 5 city market it was the lowest rated Monday since Christmas Day last year. In the 5 cities Seven won the equivalent day last year by 100,000. Except, American programs on Ten are coming from CBS, because simply put, CBS owns Ten. That just leaves me to wonder if NBC will buy Seven next? Buy Seven and own them and supply them with American NBC content. I know Seven already airs some NBC content, but by taking control of Seven this would take the cake. One can only wonder what’ll happen next… ---

I would say it was probably part of the agreement reached with the Cruise company as it was clearly product placement. Obviously noone was interested as indicated by the ratings. Also I would argue the changes made in particular in Sydney with Ferguson being joined in a duo with Cox was completely unnecessary change. Nothing was broken. Not to mention the other changes Seven implemented that have not improved anything. ---
