An ad that aired during Seven News in Melbourne promoted that The Voice will air at the ‘special time’ of 7pm.
Pretty obvious that Seven are clearly trying to get a jump on Nine and 10 by pre-empting Home and Away to allow The Voice to launch off the back of the news.

Not really, Thursday night footy doesn’t air on the main channel in Sydney, Brisbane or Perth (Lions game excepted).

There was a triple episode tonight…
Such haphazard scheduling could hurt the show. And if the regular fanbase don’t want to watch The Voice they will go elsewhere and may not come back.

Really hate to see networks wasting entire air time like this, Nine did it a lot the past decade too. Has the potential to back-fire and completely destroy that network’s night. If Voice launches massive again, wonder if they’ll pull these.

Seven have removed their midday movies from the schedule Tuesday to Thursday next week. Looks like they will be replaying The Voice in line with what Nine and 10 do with their reality shows.

If they haven’t complained after the shoddy scheduling the past few years with random double and triple episodes, I don’t think giving another program a head start is much to complain about.
Some eps have even aired on 7TWO, showing that it is not as high on the priority list as it once was.
