They need something to fill up its primetime schedule before their next anchor show is ready to go.
By the time it airs, it would have been 3 months since the whole thing happened and do people really need a prime time special to explain it all. I mean there was pretty much endless coverage of the whole thing when it was happening.

I wondered how Seven would handle the replay considering what happened with âthe slapâ. Looks like theyâll be leaving in the needless violence.
Shook me up to see that play out live. I actually laughed when Chris Rock was hit because I thought it was part of the act but my reaction quickly turned to horror when Smith sat down and started abusing him. You could tell by the look in his eyes Smith wasnât playing and was deadly serious. Respect Denzel Washington for stepping in to calm the situation but kind of wish somebody had done something sooner. You could feel the tension through the screen.
Smith shouldâve been escorted out. At the very least, I hope he gets a lengthy ban from attending the ceremony.

I dont understand why he shouldnât face some kind of police action either - it was assault.

Usually the winner of the best actor Oscar presents the best actress award the following year. So we will see what will happen there.

Agree but isnât the only way charges can be laid against Smith is if Rock files a police report (which he reportedly declined to do so)?

Initially looked like Will Smith was laughing at the joke but his wife rolling her eyes and not looking impressed at all. I wonder if she said anything.

What do you expect when they donât have anything else other than British imports, tabloid American junk and underperforming reality shows. Seven havenât had a good start at all.
Had to. Otherwise it doesnât make sense.
Itâs too obvious though. Nine should move the finale to the next night just to screw Seven even more
