Thereâs many ways of killing a show - stretching already dragged out episodes even further increases the likelihood of that happening much quickerâŚ

Seriously? Three Repeat Episodes Of The Family?
Good Doctor and God Friended Me should be returned week commencing 28 January. Seven will need reliable late night performers to help them withstand the strength of Married At First Sight earlier in the evening. Ms Fisher would be great on Sundayâs.

These days, Seven wonât give answers on when Certain Shows Like The Blacklist, Greyâs Anatomy, How to get away with Murder & Quantico still looking for Slots for New Seasons, There Are Really No Guarantees in this World.
Iâd seriously consider swapping those 10pm shows with The Latest and have them start at 10.30.
So Good Doctor fans have to find it back on Mondayâs now? They wonder why US dramas fail. They treat them like shit.
I think next Mondayâs screening of The Good Doctor will be a one-off. Nine will have the FTA premiere of 50 Shades Darker movie after Married at First Sight, so the medical drama should win its timeslot quite easily.
EDIT: I read on Nine Network schedules thread that the season premiere of MAFS will run until 9.30pm, so it will overlap with first 30 minutes of The Good Doctor.
For what reason? Ratings? Personal preference for late news?
All of the above. Weâve been having The Latest at 9.30 in Qld over summer and itâs been great. 11pm is too late.
Why canât 7 do what 9 has done with Manifest on 9Now and fast track new episodes of God Friended Me to 7plus.

Iâm guessing that Sevenâs thinking is that the US drama will rate better than The Latest.
Iâd say so. But then The Latest will get pushed back with over-runs and then it will rate lower and before long it will be axed lol
So Adelaide get the first half of the Cats v Pies game on 7mate then coverage switches to the main channel at 7pm?
Sounding like a broken record because so many have already called it
But I think Seven are in trouble, I really do, this isnât coming from a Nine fan boi either btw.

Start time: 6.40pm AEDT. AFLW is back in 2019 as the Geelong Cats take on Collingwood at GMHBA stadium LIVE from Geelong.
So it will be the first time ever that an AFL match (menâs or womenâs) starts on one channel and finishes on another channel. What is Seven thinking?! It should just show Cats v Pies AFLW game on 7mate Adelaide in full, and air something else on main channel between 7pm and 8pm.
The Good Doctorâs audience has been declining and it should be treated sensitively when it comes to scheduling. For a show like this (the #1 US drama that has not even aired 30 episodes) to be moved around the schedule so much is really unprecedented and disgusting. Networks know how hard it is to get US content to rate well in primetime here yet when it does they just mess around and shows like Good Doctor and Young Sheldon end up withering away in the ratings here while they may go on for several seasons in the US. Stick to a timeslot and leave it. If the goal was to get Good Doctor up to speed with US, they could have aired a double episode on the Tuesday.

But not everyone likes double episodes on the same night. Two episodes on two nights means they should pull similar audience figures.
