Seven Network - Programs and Schedules

Wow, didn’t realise. And that makes sense, although I do see the on-air graphics still on a nightly basis, on main channel and 7two at different times (there was one at 10pm on main channel the other night “Set for Life”)

For a long time (up until Late 2013), only the Oz Lotto & Powerball draws were shown on Seven here in NSW. For decades, Nine + affiliated regional stations had the rights to broadcasts Monday, Wednesday and later Saturday draws here in NSW with some of the more well known presenters over the years including the combination of racecaller Johnny Tapp & Karen Pini, Alex Wileman, Francine Scali (hopefully I’ve got her spelling right there) and towards the end, Jaynie Seal.

Of course since the final NSW Lotteries “Lotto” draw aired on Nine in Late 2013, we’ve fallen in line with other markets by only having In-Program Graphics on Seven for all draws (including “Set for Life”) and short broadcasts on 7TWO except for major draws like last nights which will get a main channel airing.

Other channels might’ve been quick to flash a graphic of the numbers (either in the form of an in-program super or a full screen graphic during an ad break or in news bulletins, etc.) up on screen at the first available opportunity but if I’m not mistaken, only one station per market had full broadcast rights to the draws themselves.

Comprehensive SydneyCityTV. Thank you.

The Saturday draws on TCN9 of course were an alternate version of the HSV7 draw with Nine adding their own host and graphics to what appeared to be a clean feed from Seven.

Any chance of Station 19 in any of those TBA’s? Way too much rubbish in the schedules lately.

And The Goldbergs, Maybe with Fewer Ads.

AFL pre-finals “bye” week, real chance for other networks to take it to Seven on this Friday and Saturday night.

I saw an ad on 7 Plus telling me that Yummy Mummies is coming to 7 and 7 Plus soon. Definitely said 7 and 7 Plus.

Surely not. It was a ratings failure on the main channel and didn’t seem to have any potential in terms of future seasons.

A comedy-drama from Warner Bros starring Lucy Hale (Pretty Little Liars). It debuted on The CW in the US on March 7 this year and was axed after one season. There are 13 episodes.

That means Take Me Out and/or All Together Now should debut the following week.

If this schedule tanks in the ratings expect Seven to get on the phone to Gillon to cancel the pre-finals bye week for 2019.

I think you underestimate how popular both those films are. Seven are not going to schedule something they know doesn’t rate in prime time, especially nationally. Their Saturday movies make the Top 20 each week.

Also, Sister Act could also be the final run on Seven, not being a Walt Disney Pictures title (i.e.) Touchstone. Ten might be picking-it up.

Sister Act is good, but Sister Act 2 is not very good at all. Just my opinion, I wouldn’t be bothering with the sequel.

Take Me Out Australia premieres Monday 3 September at 7:30pm.

I don’t think Dance Boss will be back for a Season 2? Ratings just seem to be going down down .

Take Me Out from the ad I saw looks cringeworthy. It’s not going to air in primetime right? Even Julia Zemiro’s All Together Now looks from the ad, again cringey, not sure why Seven is giving us this stuff when they could produce a new drama or something… unless it is because those previous shows I mentioned are cheaper?
