Seven Network - Programs and Schedules

A new ‘Crimes That Shook Australia’ is airing this Sunday on CI over on Foxtel with Matt Doran hosting an episode looking at the Jill Meagher case. Seven likely has the FTA rights to new episodes.

Crime Investigation Australia and Crimes That Shook Australia are two separate shows. I wouldn’t expect anything new airing on Foxtel this year to air on free to a air for several years. They always flog them to death on Foxtel before they sell them to FTA. The Crime Investigation Australia programme logo is clearly visible in the Instagram post. It looks like that is what Seven has picked up.

Sorry - my mistake. Although interesting that Doran is going to do the hosting for both programs if that is the case.

Here is my predictions of post-Commonwealth Games programming.
Monday April 16: My Kitchen Rules - Super Dinner Parties begin
April 17: MKR + The Good Doctor season finale
April 18: MKR + Back with the Ex premiere
April 19: Modern Family season premiere
Sunday April 22: MKR
April 23: MKR
April 24: Anzac Day eve AFL: Melbourne v Richmond. No MKR unlike last year, when Seven aired MKR on main channel and bumped the AFL to 7mate
April 25: MKR
Sunday April 29: MKR
April 30: MKR - Super Dinner Parties end
May 1: MKR semi final 1
May 2: MKR semi final 2
May 6: MKR grand final

Is this a mock schedule?

Except there will have to be more semi finals than that. Considering there will be 6 teams left after the Super Dinner Parties.

And where is Olivia slotted in?

I reckon on the night after MKR grand final. I did say Olivia needs to be on a different night to The Voice.

I would say the two Sunday nights following the conclusion of the Commonwealth Games; the 22nd and 29th of April assuming it is another two-part miniseries. I would have thought Seven would try and do a similar thing to what they did last year with the House Rules premiere on May 6 with the MKR grand final following it. I expect we should be starting to see House Rules promos any day now.

SO they’ve got the COmmonwealth Games and all they can use it for is to promote a 10 year old series, one-off mini series and Back with The Ex. Anything new or that resembles something with long term hit potential?

The Commonwealth games hasnt started yet though…

What else have they got? Interview? Mentor?

Hopefully by 2020 MKR will rate below 700k and perhaps it will be the final season .

Yeah, except that they did an HD switcheroo for one night. I recorded ch 70 HD as usual and found football on it!

I’ve been looking out for something similar so I don’t get caught out again.
