August 27-28 was meant to be the bye before the AFL finals. However, the league has forecast the bye will be scrapped this year, so the first round of the finals will start on August 27 and therefore Seven’s primetime schedule for the Friday and the Saturday will have to be revised.
And very strange to see a split schedule on a Saturday with no AFL, I presume from this “Grease” must be airing on another night / channel around this week (give or take) in Perth?
Has the league confirmed no bye yet? I thought at this stage it hadn’t been confirmed
It hasn’t been confirmed, but it will happen.

Seven will be hoping The Voice performs very well on Sunday and Monday to allow the Highway Patrol repeat to record lower numbers.
They have AFL Finals on Friday and Saturday too, which alone will do huge, regardless of whatever Sunday and Monday pulls. They’re clearly not worried about The Block nor Tuesday-Thursday (they only lost Wed and Thu by the smallest of margins too) as they saw how Nurses and RFDS for example rated last week.

Interesting move to air Demons-Lions qualifying final on main channel in Sydney, against live NRL. It will be shown on 7mate in Perth due to time difference.
Paralympics on 7mate is probably a major factor in that decision. Also I’d expect the Swans v Giants game to be live on the main channel in Sydney as well.
It is, 2-6pm on 7HD, 6-7pm post-match on 7TWO due to Paralympics coverage on mate.
On Sunday, they’ve got the Paralympics afternoon session split across 7HD and 7TWO with the footy on mate 2-6.30pm.
Not sure if just my TV but my EPG has the voice from 7:30 to 12:23am tonight, a bit of a booboo if someone’s buggered that up
