Home and Away on 7Two in Adelaide and Melbourne, last year it wasn’t is that because of Home and Away starting later this year and it would be further behind if they didn’t air the episodes? So all states will be now showing the same episodes by the end of the week?

Usually EPG has latest info, but maybe they’re yet to be updated, if so they’re leaving it pretty late.
Thursday is the one-hour compilation special with themes (this week is Gardens of the World, next week is Best Budget Meals), Friday is the regular episode. The Thursday specials will air on 7TWO in Victoria, Tasmania, SA and NT when the AFL is on.
Is this just meant to be a filler, primarily for non-AFL markets?
Exactly. I think these specials will air for the first four weeks of AFL season. On the fifth Thursday (April 18) which is the night before Good Friday, Seven may have something else planned for non-AFL markets as it falls within Easter non-ratings period.

The Easter Thursday game is Brisbane v Collingwood, which is scheduled to air on 7 in Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane, and 7mate in Sydney and Perth. So I think Sydney and Perth will receive a family movie or similar (potentially whatever is on 7mate in the other cities)
