Peter Ford said on 3AW breakfast today that Seven has acquired the rights to Wicked: One Wonderful Night, and will show it on Tuesday night, November 18. The 2-hour special was filmed at Dolby Theatre in Hollywood back in September, and will premiere on NBC this Thursday, November 6, featuring most of the stars from the two Wicked movies including Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo and Jeff Goldblum.
NBC teaser
Yes this is correct.
There will be a double episode of Home and Away at 7pm, this Wicked special at 8pm and then Murder in a Small Town at 10pm
When is the H&A finale? With Ashes starting 21-25 being Day Night in AEDT times will it wrap up by 20th Nov or still continue air from 26th Nov until the finale date?
Yes
During The Voice grand final last night, I also saw the promo for Jimmy Barnes documentary Working Class Man, which would premiere on Seven on Monday night, November 17.
Is this why they have had a number of triple episodes since the AFL ended? I mean 20 November seems a little early, usually its last week of November at the earliest
The schedule for 7, 8 and 9 November for Seven and 7Mate has been adjusted above with the AFLW finals matches.
It’s North Melbourne Tasmania v Hawthorn.
Says a lot, really.
Just announced as a new addition to the WBBL lead-up, although somehow Seven thinks it makes for a good AFLW finals lead-up here.
Jimmy Barnes: Working Class Man
On stage and off-stage, the wild journey of Jimmy Barnes is Australia’s greatest rock’n’roll story.
Following on from hit documentary Working Class Boy and based on the bestselling book Working Class Man, Jimmy is ready to tell his next chapter in Jimmy Barnes: Working Class Man, premiering 7.30pm Monday, 17 November on Seven and 7plus.
From the excess and success of Cold Chisel to the ups and downs of his solo years, this documentary special is a spellbinding and searingly honest reflection on success, addiction, class, domestic violence, love, marriage, family, aging, tolerance, healing, re-birth and – in its darkest moments – death.
Thrilling highs and terrifying lows are all told through Jimmy’s eyes with his trademark honesty and insight. This is a story about how it’s never too late to try to put things right, and just when you thought the biggest dramas of life were all behind you, a final hurdle awaits.
Working Class Man pulls together major themes in Australian society, spanning from the 1960s to the present day. They are expressed through Jimmy’s personal story and the extraordinary way he has maintained a unique and powerful connection with a vast audience through every surprising step of his journey.
This is also a love story, but not a fairy tale. Jimmy’s love for his wife Jane, her love and commitment to him and to creating and nurturing a family together is what saved him in the end.

I’m surprised that more networks haven’t picked up live musicals. They’re a big thing in America.
I think this airs tonight in us. So in a few hours.
Tying with two other countries for the second slowest turnaround.
It could have been here.
