Seven’s lifestyle reliance, especially this year, in short succession and often on Fridays and Saturdays, has been a point of discussion by some here recently.
I thought it could be pointed out that, BH&G aside, it seems a long-running trend with trialling these sorts of in-house programs. The network did used to have a significant factual unit as well. Could be a Tim Worner or Angus Ross driven strategy, programming executives during these times over the last say 25 years.

Also quite impressive the talent that have come from non-major shows to network stardom, Sara Groen was mentioned elsewhere today (both her and JT from children’s TV department onto Seven News and Weekend Sunrise among other shows) and Williams (lifestyle/reno onto Great Outdoors among several other key stints).
