BT’s is the best.
How is that great for free to air?
because its 4 games, like how it was in the 2012-2016 AFL deal.
Tonight’s telecast finished at 11:33pm AEST.
On par with a Friday night game
Latest finish I can remember for some time for a Saturday night, due to WA time zone (first bounce wasn’t until 7:40pm AEST).
Why is this notable?
I wondered what relevance that had tp Melbourne rather than 4 games.
Cracking game, they did 3 interviews in the rooms with Oliver, Gawn and Bugg and Footy Central or whatever it’s called now was longer than the last few weeks with more games on this round.
On a side note, Peter Bell brings some class and knowledge to any Seven broadcast.
Seven showed Richmond singing the song after today’s Sunday afternoon game. That has to be a first for games in the 3.20pm timeslot.
Properly because the game finished on time for once
Yep, usually if the match finishes at or before 5.50pm AEST Seven will show the team song before the news.
I don’t see why the Sunday game can’t start at 3.10pm instead.
Seven want the game to finish right on 5.59 (or close to so) viewers don’t have the opportunity to switch off or change channels before the 6pm News
###Round 15
In-form Demons and Swans kick start weekend of footy
The Demons host the Swans at the MCG on Friday Night Football with ambitions of starting a new chapter. The Swans have had the wood over the Demons since their 2011 draw and with both teams coming off a string of consecutive wins, confidence will be peaking.
Before the bounce we reflect on the Swans and the Demons’ come from behind ‘Houdini acts’ last weekend. Max Gawn, Dom Tyson and Tom McDonald also talk about what it means for the Demons to return to the big stage of Friday Night Football.
At half time, injured Demons co-captain Nathan Jones joins Cameron Ling andWayne Carey live at the desk.
The Giants and the Cats meet for the first time this season on Saturday Night Footy in a huge first versus third clash as both teams battle to prove themselves as the main contender for the flag.
The Kick chats live with one of the central figures of the Bachar Houli saga and injured Giants star Stephen Coniglio also joins the panel live.
Giants superstar Toby Greene is this week’s Discovered as he talks about learning from mistakes off the footy field and his efforts to shake his ‘bad boy’ tag.
Hawthorn will be hell bent on revenge on Sunday Football after the Magpies made an enormous comeback from 43 points down in their first meeting this year. Both teams need a win to keep any chance of finals alive and the Hawks will fancy their odds after a remarkable victory against the Crows last weekend.
Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury plays his 250th game on Sunday and sits down to discuss his football journey so far including what the future holds for the accomplished midfielder.

Tonight’s coverage of Melbourne v Sydney match concluded at 11:34PM (EST)
I agree. Especially given Seven has extensive pre-match at 2.30pm AEST, I can’t see why it won’t consider some post-match coverage before the news. It’s all up to Fox Footy or radio stations to do their job.
Shitty time to attend too. Hate getting home late on a Sunday.
Sunday games are always my least favourite to attend. I strangely love the Thursday night game.
Jason Bennett in for Luke Darcy tonight.
I see you’ve taken my job
Where is Luke Darcy? Is he having the week off?
Did he fly up after VFL or did he not do it today?
