It will have been ideal if all Seven-produced matches are available for catch-up on 7plus nationwide, plus the Fox produced matches featuring local teams for a particular state. For example, WA viewers should be able to catch up on an Eagles match and a Dockers match on 7plus each week, and all three Seven-produced matches if they don’t involve either Eagles or Dockers. This is particularly relevant for Friday night doubleheaders and Sunday afternoon matches.

In that case, they had the rights to two Sunday matches, and in nearly all cases these matches were played concurrently in real life therefore necessitating the delay of the second match.
I’d also like to think that for the abbreviated match that Nine televised (ie 2:10pm match starting at 4:00pm on Nine), Fox Footy would air that match in its entirety on replay.

Here in the states, we often got the abbreviated match that Nine televised live on setanta Sports (ie 2:10pm match starting at 4:00pm on Nine), on one channel and the 1.10pm game on another one. Often, though, they’d show the Sunday NRL game from Nine or even the Fox Sports 3pm NRL match instead of the 1.10pm AFL one, given its kickoff was 3.05pm.
