Does anyone know what the Foxtel/Optus channels did?
I recently saw a video channel surfing US cable just after the attacks, and a number of channels were on static slides, and others switched to simulcasting a news station, while others just added info to the bottom of the screen.
I donāt know the channel numbers well enough to work out how much was out of the ordinary the next day per the video in this post - Classic TV Listings - #7374 by TVL

I recall CNN being on other channels, canāt recall to well though.
Thatās great I have never seen it so complete like that. Did Tim Webster join Sandra at some stage? Iāve heard people mention that but never seen any of it. U know Ron Wilson was on by morning.
SBS World News Tonight aired at 9.30 so would have been finished and packed up by 10.45.
Interesting that article says 9 crosses to Michelle Stone in NYā¦ .she was 10 not 9.

What was happening on 10 in non-AEST states? Iām presuming they just cut in at some point to rolling coverage - does anyone know the exact times?

They cut in, if not at the scheduled start time of the late news, not long after. I think Rove had been on, was live to Adelaide by the time the 2nd plane hit.

Never realised Ten was still taking ad breaks well after the second plane hit (just after 2hr mark in this video for example)

Interesting to note that at 11:23 you can already see the first pictures from New York, 2 minutes before Sandra first delivers the news.
