Kooyong doesn’t have lights
SBS making a mess of the tennis. Crashing into commercial breaks while commentators are still babbling.
And they just ran a promo for the Indian Pacific doco “tonight at 7:30”. Which went to air two nights ago. Audio levels all over the place too.
Ah well. There are probably as many people watching SBS as there are in the Kooyong crowd. Not many!
Josh Frydenberg is the Federal Member for Kooyong. He also chatted to Darren James on 3AW afternoons before the 1pm news.
The problems with SBS coverage are understandable given the network only got the broadcast rights a couple of months ago and it has a skeleton crew unlike Seven which broadcast the tournament until last year.
I saw that too, was confused and thought that they might be replaying it tonight.
Yep, i’ve had to change the volume levels multiple times, I thought that it could be the TV but obviously not.
Frydenberg was a previous Kooyong champion.
About the coverage, I don’t think SBS are producing the coverage. If they were, they wouldn’t be having the issues with crashing into ad-breaks
Yes - all the mic flags say Kooyong.
