#2

Below average ratings for Schoolies on 10. On par with their usual Saturday shares. Hopefully 10 will try and get that show to grow.

Nine smashing it out of the park. Exclusive action on the AU Open paying off. Seven has really fallen into a pit. One wonders if their shares would be better had they scheduled a Saturday night BBL.

#3

Wow even 10 News First beat Saturday Schoolies. That’s when you know ratings are low :joy:

#4

Dream shares for Nine and unrivaled momentum to showcase their Q1 content slate launching post-Tennis.

#5

Poor start for Saturday schoolies.
The tennis thumped the WBBL semi-finals on Seven.

SEVEN NEWS AT 5 Seven 234,000
The figures for Sydney and Melbourne are for the WBBL semi-final between the Sixers and the Renegades which did not finish until 5.35pm AEDT.

#6

How is House in the top 10? Was that a scheduled show on 9 Gem replaced by tennis?

#7

House is the nominal post tennis program on the main channel and didn’t air last night instead it was overflow from late finishing matches.

#9

Nine blitzed the competition.

I’m a Celebrity cracked the top 20. Numbers are “okay”. Everything else on Ten failed and back to their usual low Saturday shares.
Apart from Ambulance UK in 2018, its not often we see a show from Ten crack the top 20 on a Saturday night, so that’s some goo news, I guess.

Seven’s movies didn’t do well this time around.

#10

Firstly, I remember you actually did the same this time last year (providing ratings on weekends), so once again thank you Cynic!

Secondly, look at the audiences watching TV after midnight in Sydney and Melbourne on a Saturday! (“House” as mentioned)

#11

The exclusivity of the tennis is unrivaled. Having simulcast rights deals don’t work. The cricket ratings are mediocre at best and of course no bbl on every night means that people can’t follow it.

Poor ratings for that celebrity thing on ten. Slight bump for ten news first with Chris Bath. Looks higher than normal.

#12

But even so, 10 News First was still 10 News Fourth in all metro markets.

The presenter who did really well in the Sydney market last night was Sophie Walsh on Nine News. More 6pm bulletins with her at the helm please, Darren Wicks & Simon Hobbs!

#13

I thought the Saturday night episode of I’m a Celebrity was going to be exclusive to 10 All Access?

#14

I believe that was the original plan. I’m guessing they don’t have enough subscribers to make it viable.

#15

Did they ever say that though? Ten need more programming across the week.

#16

Also… did anyone notice 9GO! getting a share of 7% (more than Ten’s main channel at 6.6%) thanks to The Hobbit; The Desolation of Smaug! Wow.

#17

Nine smashed Seven! Go Tennis!

#18

I think maybe I and a few others read this paragraph wrong from the Upfront last year.

Oops! :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

#19

Thought so.

#20

Actually, nope… it was this from TV Tonight:

“ a shorter season o f I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! comes with a Live streaming Saturday night edition on 10 All Access.”

https://tvtonight.com.au/2018/11/upfronts-2019-10-variety-new-dramas-multichannel-rebrand.html

#21

Probably misinterpreted the announcement too.
