New Zealand swept this year’s Bledisloe Cup series with a 28-14 win over the Wallabies in Perth tonight. The All Blacks also gained a bonus point, and will claim the Rugby Championship if Argentina beat South Africa in a few hours’ time.

South Africa came from 13-3 down to narrowly defeat Argentina 29-27 at Twickenham in London, to claim back-to-back Rugby Championships. The Springboks and the All Blacks both finished on 19 competition points, but the Springboks won the title due to a superior points difference (+57 to +8).

The fixture for the All Blacks’ South African tour in August-September next year has also been revealed.
Next year the All Blacks are scheduled to play the Stormers, Sharks and Bulls before the first Test (against the Springboks) at Ellis Park in Johannesburg. They will then play the Lions in a midweek game before the next three Tests in Cape Town, Johannesburg (FNB Stadium) and at a neutral venue yet to be announced.

Australia lose to England at Twickenham 25-7. England are now 8 on the trot.
All Blacks couldn’t finish it off and lost to England for the 9th time in 120 years.
AB led 12-0 early and quickly blew it.
The Wallabies ended their European tour with four defeats from four matches, losing to France 48-33. The Wallabies trailed by one point (27-26) in the middle of the second half, but conceded two late tries to the home side.
The result meant the Wallabies had lost ten matches in a calendar year, for the first time. The ABC live blog also said that it’s the first time since 1958 they have recorded a winless tour of Europe (when four or more Tests have been played).
New Zealand defeated Australia in both men’s and women’s finals of Dubai Sevens yesterday, to start the 2025-2026 SVNS World Series under a revamped format.
