Yes I don’t know what to prioritize. The NRL needs to rethink grand final entertainment. That was pedestrian to say the least despite the fantastic intention to tribute Jai Arrow. The only good thing is how good everything looks at night. I know purists prefer day time but the look on tv at night is brilliant. ---

It’s the Roosters’ first NRL title since 2019. The Roosters did the double after the women’s side won earlier. Heartbreak for the Knights and the Newcastle community. ---

That was a great game… the Knights should be proud that they pushed the Roosters this close… just one point in it… even though the Knights led 12-0 early. ---

Is the NRL skimping on decorations for the presentation stage? I can see a row of cardboard pylons showing the NRL trophy. The AFL has LED vertical screens for the GF. ---

Mark Nawaqanitawase also ends his rugby league career as a winner. He is returning to rugby union by joining Japanese side Saitama Wild Knights in the 2026-27 Rugby League One season, which starts in December. ---
