Thursday night TV ratings saw Seven post its first win of week 28 and it was a big one; almost ten points clear of the nearest competitor thanks to the AFL that was up 70,000 on last Thursday’s game.
SBS was also up three points to its second highest share of the 2020 survey. Nine was down 2.5 and 10 lost 2 points will ABC dropped slightly.
Week-to-date shares for week 28 stand at Nine 28.0%, Seven 27.1%, 10 19.3%, ABC 16.5% and SBS 9.2%.
Seven scored +30% shares in all markets except Sydney. The harbour city was the only market won by Nine thanks to NRL. In Brisbane, Nine’s main channel topped the night but 53,000 for the AFL on 7Mate helped Seven to beat Nine in network shares.
Meanwhile, a double episode of War of The Worlds helped SBS’s share. For 10, Gogglebox suffered a small drop while NRL was down in its key markets to 297,000, just outside the top 20. With the addition of 9Gem audience the NRL rated 314,000
