This needs to be said
Had to fill out another Centrelink form this week for approval to continue with my volunteer work for the RSPCA for another year .Keeps me out of trouble and I can manage 30 hours a fortnight still.Its better for me than staying home all the time ,having too much time to think,and beating myself up (not literally ) for past mistakes and for not staying at my last job for longer than I did.
In the end my mental health was more important than having more money .
These days I wouldn’t be able to work full time in a physically demanding job,too old now.
I can manage 4 ,4 hour shifts a week no problem especially as one of those shifts is driving one of the vans for the RSPCA wildlife hospital

What’s the best way to set up a multiview in my office? I’ve got a space monitor and was wanting to find out how to have the screen have a Kayo-multiview-esque grid of various channels/streams running independently (not a chrome tab). Any ideas?
Because of Cyclone Alfred the RSPCA has closed their shelters in Brisbane (Wacol and Dakabin) and Noosa.
No volunteers or the general public are allowed on site,only a few staff members are there if safe.
It’s because of Mother Nature this time that I’m unable to work all my required volunteer hours this fortnight,it’s not my fault ,there’s nothing I can do except wait at home until it’s safe to go there again.
Tuesday next week they will reopen.

On Monday, it was announced that the new image would be an artwork honouring the “enduring emotional, spiritual, and physical connection of First Nations peoples to Country.”
An imagery selection panel, which includes senior representatives from the Reserve Bank and Note Printing Australia, along with prominent First Nations business and community members, made the decision after an Australia-wide campaign which led to more than 2100 nominations from the public.
The reverse side of the note will continue to feature Parliament House.

Why is it taking so long to change?

I started volunteering at the Animal Welfare League QLD today ,at their main shelter and head office at Helensvale on the Gold Coast.They have mainly dogs and cats,some pocket pets,ie;guinea pigs, domestic mice or rats, and some birds.Theres also a community vet clinic onsite too.I can get there on public transport if I want to save money on petrol.I’ll do 2 shifts for them for the next 3 months (and if I like it there I’ll continue to do 1 shift a week there )as well as continuing to volunteer at RSPCA QLD,(Wacol)
If this gets too much for me I’ll just do 1 shift a week on the Gold Coast.
I want to not be at home too much so I don’t feel guilty about not doing paid work anymore.
