This needs to be said
Had to fill out another Centrelink form this week for approval to continue with my volunteer work for the RSPCA for another year .Keeps me out of trouble and I can manage 30 hours a fortnight still.Its better for me than staying home all the time ,having too much time to think,and beating myself up (not literally ) for past mistakes and for not staying at my last job for longer than I did.
In the end my mental health was more important than having more money .
These days I wouldnât be able to work full time in a physically demanding job,too old now.
I can manage 4 ,4 hour shifts a week no problem especially as one of those shifts is driving one of the vans for the RSPCA wildlife hospital

Whatâs the best way to set up a multiview in my office? Iâve got a space monitor and was wanting to find out how to have the screen have a Kayo-multiview-esque grid of various channels/streams running independently (not a chrome tab). Any ideas?
Because of Cyclone Alfred the RSPCA has closed their shelters in Brisbane (Wacol and Dakabin) and Noosa.
No volunteers or the general public are allowed on site,only a few staff members are there if safe.
Itâs because of Mother Nature this time that Iâm unable to work all my required volunteer hours this fortnight,itâs not my fault ,thereâs nothing I can do except wait at home until itâs safe to go there again.
Tuesday next week they will reopen.

On Monday, it was announced that the new image would be an artwork honouring the âenduring emotional, spiritual, and physical connection of First Nations peoples to Country.â
An imagery selection panel, which includes senior representatives from the Reserve Bank and Note Printing Australia, along with prominent First Nations business and community members, made the decision after an Australia-wide campaign which led to more than 2100 nominations from the public.
The reverse side of the note will continue to feature Parliament House.
