The fixture for the ODI World Cup in South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe was revealed overnight. Australia have been drawn in group A, alongside India, Zimbabwe, Pakistan, Afghanistan and a qualifier. Group B consists of South Africa, New Zealand, England, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and a qualifier.
The two qualifiers will come from a 10-team tournament early next year, with the winner advancing to the group stage and the losing finalist and two losing semi-finalists to play the Super Series. The Super Series winner will also join the group stage. A venue for the qualifiers has yet to be established but it is likely to be played either in South Africa or Namibia.

Edit - not drawn but manipulated by the ICC. The ICC must always have an India v Pakistan fixture…

Yeah. It’s basically an extended arm of the BCCI now (as it has been for some time - but has accelerated post Jay Shah’s elevation)
