When Tim Blackwell moved to Breakfast with Ricki-Lee in April, he brought it back for their show. He mentioned at the time that it was Nova’s classic theme and he wanted it back. They must have decided to roll it out everywhere now.

An Adelaide pizza restaurant owner has threatened legal action after a local radio station, Nova 919, pulled its ‘Adelaide’s Most Awesome Pizza’ competition, accusing the leading business of using artificial intelligence bots to rig the votes.
“It has caused financial harm — our customers are questioning why we are disqualified,” the spokesperson said.
That is not a demonstration of financial harm lol

Wippa missed the Fitzy, Wippa and Kate show yesterday. He cut his hand with a saw on the balcony of the Nova studios while working on a Book Week costume for Kate Ritchie’s daughter and had to go to Emergency.
They rang him while he was in hospital and later spoke to his wife. Apparently he needs to see a surgeon today because he can’t move his thumb.
Wippa had surgery yesterday because he had cut a tendon in his hand. He will need weeks of physiotherapy but returned to the studio today.
Kate slashed his hand with a saw at work. Poor Wippa.
All good now.

It’s not a secret. He openly mentions that now. They also make a big deal of it when he’s back in the studio again sometimes.
