Have they sorted out whats happening with Sydney Breakfast? It seems like that needs to be resolved so the remaining dominos can fall into place

Doubt FWK will be retiring or resigning in December when they finish up for the school holiday break
Mel is an absolute star and Nova are lucky to have had her on their books as she’s gained more national exposure in recent years. Now with BB, it seems like a no brainer

Yeah, I’d be embarrassed being NOVA ENT. Having ‘just a workday jock’ host a prominent national TV show, she really should be up there with the other talent at the station.

Yeah, something like Jimmy & Nath did from memory at SCA, a content based night show Mon - Thurs & weekend breakfast.

I think they’re onto it, it’s just a matter of timing with all their talent changes of late. I’d say Nova will have her in some form of national role relatively soon. She’s already the national holiday breakfast show.
With BB running at the moment it would be awkward to launch a show with her initially having to be away a lot for the live shows etc.

She’d be good on drive and better then Chrissie Swan, nova needs some new blood not the same musical chairs as chrissie, Kate and Ricki Lee that they’ve had for about 15-20 years

National I guess as it’s what’s airing in Brisbane.
Yeah. I heard it on Monday in Sydney. They seemed to have recorded new intros and then play “best of” clips.

Make him permanent. He’s already been through enough with the ARN sackings last year that ended his own Night Show program and left his 3pm Pick Up co-hosts at the time in tears (doesn’t matter for Britt and Laura though now as they’ve given ARN the big finger following ARN’s decision to yank their Life Uncut podcast from iHeart by signing with Southern Cross instead lol).

I’m surprised Nova didn’t pick up his podcast considering he appears to still be on the books.
He has said in an interview that he likes being independent so he doesn’t need approval and can do whatever he wants to do.

Nova Brisbane’s top-rating breakfast show faces a potential shake-up, an insider says, as former host eyes a return to the station.
Outgoing Hit Newcastle host Nick “Ducko” Allen-Ducat is now being linked to a potential Brisbane comeback and a bold play for a coveted Nova 106.9 breakfast slot.
The rumours come despite Nova’s recent ratings success, with the station reclaiming the number one breakfast spot in the latest GfK Radio 360 Ratings, released in October, with Ash, Luttsy and Nikki Osborne pulling a 13.4 per cent share — the show’s strongest result since Survey 2 earlier this year.
Ducko last week confirmed he will be leaving the Hit Network’s Jess & Ducko show at the end of the year, describing the decision as emotional and deeply considered as he prepares for what he called “an exciting new chapter”.
