So did Northern NSW viewers still not get “Tropic Thunder” (2008) on Eleven after re-tuning? What’s going on there? ---

I don’t understand why viewers should be forced to returne their TV. Inconvenience to audience. Stations should handle the broadcast details themselves. I was on the coast on Saturday, retune required. Had a quick look at Mediaspy’s big topic and have simply deleted the WIN channels from the channel list/ Unnecessary with a metro 10 in the market. ---

No, I’m pretty sure I lost 1 and 11 along with the main channel as well. I think the main reason why this is so is that even the though the LCN Channel Names were still the same (“ONE Newcastle” and “ELEVEN Newcastle”), the Network name is different on all WIN channels ie. it now appears as WIN and not SCA. I would be very surprised if no one required a retune. ---

I had to retune too, because all the channels were black and still listed with their old names. I just did a manual tune and all good after that. ---

Will be interesting to see NRN’s viewing figures in a couple of months. Unlike the regional shakeup in July 2016, figures cannot be blamed on viewer confusion due to an affiliation swap as the only visible change is watermarks. Hopefully this will be a wake up call to WIN, but I doubt it. ---

Tim Bailey confirmed tonight that TENs Sydney bulletin is now being aired on the Gold Coast on WIN. He also remarked that Sandra Sully’s parents are now able to watch their daughter read the news. And to celebrate WINs expansion to Nth NSW and the Gold Coaat, TEN News are giving away a holiday to the Gold Coast. ---
