@killy06 Ten is versioning promos for WIN. You can tell As the win logo animates on the end tag really nicely and the Ten VO talent say “on WIN” - it makes me think Ten is doing two versions of all Promos - one for them and one for Win I don’t think it’s a cover up. Win is choosing to use dual logos. The PRG is also the win in a blue circle - and win adds that themselves ---

Thanks for that. Just strikes me odd that they would willingly use two versions of the logo, when the round version is generally only used as a coverup. I’m still really digging the look of the Motorsport promos TEN are putting out also, they look great. ---

@killy06 My guess (and it’s a guess only) is that Ten wanted the Ten brand to survive in QLD SNSW act and Vic (as SC carried all Ten branding) and Win strongly wanted their own brand So my guess is a compromise would be reached where win would sometimes use the Ten look logo This is very evident on the PRG as it animates on like a Ten logo on a circle, same colours animation and all - and then settles to just a win logo With Ten’s success lately Coming first quite a few nights the last few weeks, and “Ten” viewers in QLD SNSW act and Vic now wondering “where channel ten has gone” on Facebook etc - ro me the more win utilizes the Ten like logo the better. It’s smart and to their advantage. ---

Interestingly, only Ten branded promos air on Eleven and One. I’m yet to see WIN branded promos on these channels. ---

Why on earth are WIN airing Ten promos on the multichannels? The average viewer (like old Beryl from Ayr) who still doesn’t understand that WIN is now Ten is gonna be confused and angry at getting Ten promos airing when they can’t find a channel called Ten on their TV. It’s honestly just stupid to use Ten promos when they’re not even using the Ten brand. ---

It’s a strange and slightly confusing look. I was flipping channels the other day and went from WIN with a show promo (Offspring I think) using the WIN logo, to One showing the SAME promo with a Ten logo!! 😵 ---

The PRG is also the win in a blue circle - and win adds that themselves well at least WIN are using their affiliate’s logo (the circle) in their logo, unlike the nine days from 2008-2016! Also using Ten’s VO for WIN and doing two versions. A big thumbs up! Remember when Prime started taking Seven network programmes in 1989 they used the Seven VO and promos, then at the end the same deep voice says “on Prime”, but it was edited over “on Suv-vun” ---

Not seeing many positive comments towards the new WIN… Has anyone noticed what happens on WIN during MasterChef? Do they air Curtis Stone’s themed Coles ads? Or do they aor their own Coles ads? Also, regional ratings (WIN) have improved by for MasterChef, compared to SC10 (as you know, I can’t detail anything here) which is good to see. I’d only expect that to rise as promotion continues, local news at 6pm/reach/popular history of WIN is a big bonus for Ten. It’s been a week today 🙂 Admin: removed regional ratings numbers ---
