That world rankings graphic is great. I’ve never seen that before, but it’s a really good representation of form. In AFL we get the ladder, then separately we might get the form, but at least with this you can see who’s currently got the wind in their sails and who hasn’t.

Surprising to see heavy promotion of NZ v SA in the broadcast. I guess Nine will be hoping for more Stan sign ups amongst NZers and South African rugby fans who haven’t yet signed up.

Yes. There’s a lot of interest in tonight’s ABs and Boks game considering how SA should have probably won last week. My sister (in Aus) even texted me asking where she could watch the ABs game. She’s not a big rugby fan, but she’s a Kiwi so there’s almost like an obligation to watch tonight’s match.

It will be Canada v England in the 2025 Women’s Rugby Women’s Cup final, live from Twickenham. Nine’s FTA coverage starts at 10.30pm local time in WA this Saturday (September 27), midnight Sunday in SA and NT, and 12.30am Sunday in the eastern states.
Before that, Stan will exclusively stream the third-place playoff between New Zealand and France, also from Twickenham, from 9pm AEST.

It was announced today that the Wallabies would kick off the 2027 Rugby World Cup in Perth on October 1. The draw will take place on December 3.

Stan Sport will stream every match of this year’s Autumn Nations Series live and exclusive. The Wallabies will play five matches during this series, starting with Japan in Tokyo on October 25, before travelling to Europe to face (in order) England, Italy, Ireland and France.

In 2026 the best players in world rugby will descend on Australia in a huge season of Super Rugby Pacific and International Tests on Stan Sport and the 9Network.
Super Rugby Pacific is back, as the Brumbies, Waratahs, Reds and Force take on the best teams from New Zealand, Fiji and the greater Pacific. Stan Sport will be the only place to watch every match live and on demand.
Following the domestic season, the Wallabies will begin their preparations for Rugby World Cup 2027 on home soil with a series of international fixtures, including the Bledisloe Cup and a run of Test matches against the best teams from both Southern and Northern Hemispheres.
