Why the Opera House?
Its not “Western Sydney”. Should have done it from Westfield Blacktown or Rooty Hill RSL, now that’s Western Sydney.

Do the backdrops add anything to the reports? Makes no sense to me to have all these live crosses in news bulletins when there is no added value having them there.

Gives the appearance of immediacy (‘it’s live, it’s happening, it’s NOW!’) and it’s cheaper than a traditional packaged report.
Is it really cheaper? They often have a pre-recorded package and a live cross. I can’t see how it’s cheaper having all these crews with the reporter all over the city during the day and still there in the evening.

No. She’s been back around a month or so now.
In an interview with Sunday Herald Sun’s Fiona Byrne for Father’s Day today, Clint Stanaway admitted that his 7-day-a-week work schedule juggling breakfast radio, 9News and Weekend Today could not go on forever.

Nope, he’s not married either.
At least he recognises it can’t go on forever. But if he’s happy doing what he’s doing, then good on him

Why is he being interviewed for an article for Father’s Day then?
Clint and his father John Stanaway both spoke to Fiona Byrne in the same interview.
John is the senior trainer with AFL club Melbourne, and has also appeared on Jase and Lauren a number of times.
